Title |
A Review of Globalization and Its Impact on Women in India |
Abstract |
Globalization is the process of increasing interdependence, interconnectedness, and integration of economies and societies to the point where events in one part of the world can affect people in other regions. While global culture and the integration of the world economy are frequently discussed, this process is not uniform across the globe and often leads to conflict and fragmentation. In India, the roles of women have been evolving as they transition from traditional roles to a new era of freedom and rights. The primary objective of this paper is to examine how globalization has changed the role of women in Indian society. This issue is not just academic, but vital to the ongoing development process in India. It is essential to assess the impact of globalization on women in India, both positive and negative, to understand how it has influenced their current position in society. |
